A literary quiz

Until more logical inspiration strikes, a literary quiz question for you.

Where might George Herbert, Andrew Marvell, John Dryden, Lord Byron, Alfred Lord Tennyson and A. E. Houseman keep company with A. A. Milne and Vladimir Nabokov? And why haven’t John Donne, John Milton, Alexander Pope, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Robert Browning or John Betjemann been invited?

  1. Members of Trinity College Cambridge (although not all as undergaduates – Housman was there as a fellow).

I have heard one who punts tourists along the Backs claim that he once pointed out the Wren Library and said that it held a manuscript of Winnie the Pooh, because the author studied there, prompting a citizen of a former British colony to say “Wow, Winnie the Pooh studied there!”.
